Smoking Theology arises from many of the statements speakers, professors, pastors, and other teachers who allude to the statement below from their dictionary of phrases after stating a crucial point. “Put this in your theological pipe and smoke it!”

Smoking Theology has one sole focus which is to point the church body to a “Missional Trinity Theology.” The doctrine of the Trinity is an average conservative church doctrine. Many religions and varying denominations have refuted this doctrine. However, Smoking Theology is directly committed to speaking to those who do affirm the Trinity as the truth of Scripture in regards to describing who God is and how He relates within Himself, as well as how He relates to the world.

Therefore, Smoking Theology creates a crucial, new phraseology that reveals that the Trinity concerns Himself with seeking out His creation for His own glory and not just to have a doctrine to affirm and study. The study of the doctrine of the Trinity should help our understanding of how to live life and answers the question of why there is life. God should affect not just our understanding but also the practicality of living life to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to the world. Nonetheless, the phrase, newly created by this author of Smoking Theology, is “Missional Trinity Theology.” This new way of phrasing arises to refute the apathetic and cultural irrelevant American trinitarian church.

This claim will be argued within the pages of Smoking Theology which are located at the top of each page. They are labeled as the areas to be challenged in the American Trinitarian church: missional, trinity, theology, and practical.

Missional Theology” phrase or “Missiology” comes from biblical knowledge and experienced in the mission field.

Interesting Men

The two men below are radically and overwhelmingly challenging the 21st century American church to understand this biblical knowledge and be immersed in the missions experiences for the glory of the Lord.

Resurgence: Mark Driscoll, Pastor of Mars Hill Church in Washington. Author of “Radical Reformission”

Dallas Theological Seminary: Dr. Mark Young, Professor of World Missions and Intercultural studies
Dr. Mark Young

Dr. Mark Young has spoken 4 lectures concerning the issue of the Missio Dei. Missio Dei is the understanding that God is mission, He is on a mission, and His mission is to proclaim Himself to the world for His own glory. Please refer to the clear and heart wrenching teaching of Dr. Mark Young on the Missio Dei.

Smoking Theology asserts the reality of the separation of the Christian’s belief in the Trinity from practically living out the Christian faith missionally in America in the 21st Century. Smoking Theology desires to say to American Christians, “Put this in your theological pipe and smoke it!”
